I had to post this because this recipe was almost orgasmic. So before I was vegan I lovvvvved Nutella, however if you read the ingredients list you will activate the side eye because it’s first ingredient is sugar aside from the milk fat and emulsifier. Additionally, food labels 101 teaches you that the content of all of all products will be listed from the most (weighted) to the least; so, that means at least 50% of Nutella is sugar which makes it basically spreadable chocolate.
So here goes less sugar more spice.
2 cups of Hazelnuts
1.5 cups of almonds
1/4 cup of Palm fruit oil
1 Tsp of sea salt
2 cups of 100% organic cocoa
1/2 cup of Manuka Honey
1/4 cup of organic cocoa butter
1 tsp of rum
This is a treat for those who can’t or don’t do milk and it is much much healthier. I love it with apples and every other fruit you can think of. Play with the ingredients to adapt it to your taste but stay away from artificial flavoring. You don’t know where that shit comes from…
